About Us

Valley Corvettes, Inc. is a non-profit organization of Corvette enthusiasts located in the Idaho's Treasure Valley and the surrounding areas. It was founded in 1990 by a group of people that are passionate about Corvettes, 'THE TRUE AMERICAN SPORTS CAR'.

Valley Corvette members participate in cruises, poker rallies, breakfasts, picnics, Boise Roadster Show, racing at Firebird Raceway and many other events. We also participate in local community parades that support Meridian Dairy Days, Boise State Homecoming, Veterans Day, 4th of July, as well as local high school homecomings.

Since 1993 Valley Corvettes has hosted a huge event every two years known as VetteFest. It is a premier event with Corvettes coming from many states to participate. It is a fun filled three day event with one day of performance, participating in auto cross and drag racing at Firebird Raceway. One day of driving the beautiful scenic roads of Idaho (to McCall, Sun Valley, etc.) And one day of participating in a Show N Shine located on the grass in the beautiful Kleiner Park in Meridian where we showcase our beautiful Corvettes for the entire community to enjoy, and culminating with an awards banquet.

It is Valley Corvettes' desire to help children in need and we are extremely proud of what the members of Valley Corvettes has done and continue to do. During the period of 1993 thru 2003 a Corvette was donated and sponsored by Fairly Reliable Bob’s with raffle tickets sold. The Corvette was given away at the VetteFest event. During that time we were able to raise and donate $484,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Additionally for the past 23 years, we have participated in the Idaho Transportation Department's (ITD) Adopt A Highway program. We adopted a two mile section of Highway 55 near Horseshoe Bend, and pick up trash as a community volunteer service twice a year.

We are extremely proud that in 2002 we created the nation’s first and only Corvette Specialty Vehicle License Plate which was approved and passed by Idaho legislation.  The Corvette license plate became available for purchase on February 14, 2003 allowing Corvette and all motor vehicle owners the ability to purchase it. A portion of the cost of this specialty plate was then given to Valley Corvettes. Valley Corvettes then shared a portion of the funds with Snake River Corvette and Corvettes of Southeast Idaho to distribute to charities within their areas. To date $328,000 has been given directly to many children’s charities throughout the entire State of Idaho. The plate not only allowed us to display our appreciation for 'America's Sports Car' on our Corvette, but members are proud to display them on many of their other cars, trucks or SUV’s. Unfortunately the Idaho Legislature voted to do away with the program on 3/19/21.

In August 2014 we had the honor to be chosen to participate in the grand opening of the Idaho Highway 16 two and a half mile extension. Thirty-seven Corvettes carried then-Governor Butch Otter and other dignitaries across the new stretch of highway that provided another crossing of the Boise River.

In 2016 Valley Corvettes received recognition from Tri Cities Corvettes of Washington for being the Northwest Regional Corvette Club for Community Service Award.

Valley Corvettes is also proud to be a Lifetime member of the National Corvette Museum, where the mission is to preserve the past present and future of the America's Sports Car, THE CORVETTE.

Valley Corvettes is always excited to have new members, join us to participate in our planned events and activities. For more information or questions please feel free to contact us. We look forward to seeing you soon!
