VALLEY CORVETTES WORKING FOR KIDS!

IDAHO's CORVETTE LICENSE PLATE PROGRAM

It is our character as Americans to help those who are in need. How appropriate then that the Idaho Corvette License plate did not only display an appreciation for a American icon but it gave us the opportunity to help children’s charitable organizations throughout Idaho.  The Idaho Corvette license plate became official on Friday, March 22, 2002.  Senate Bill 1442 was signed at 10:30 am by Governor Dirk Kempthorne.  Since that day, by purchasing this “Corvette”  plate for your car,  truck or SUV you could celebrate “the American Icon”, show your American Spirit and support children in need.  Corvette Clubs across Idaho have been able to donate with the funds received from the sale of this license plate to many different charities. Sadly the Idaho Legislature (Senate Bill 1349) decided to do away with the program on 3/19/21.

Where does the money go?

The specialty Corvette license plate has raised $323,000 from 2003 to 2021 for children’s charities. See our Charities Supported & Community Involvement webpage for more information of how the money has been spent and donated.
