Memorial Service for Gary Kester

Our dear friend and member, Gary Kester passed away Tuesday evening Oct. 24th. From Mary: "My sweetheart Gary, went home to be with the Lord last night! He fought to the end but no more pain! Thank you all for the prayer's!!"

Gary and Mary have been Valley Corvettes members since March of 1991. That is 32+ years! In his lifetime, they owned 67 Corvettes. That is a true Corvette lover.

Prior to passing, Mike had a discussion with Gary. One of Gary's desires was to have 100+ Corvettes at his Memorial Service! Let's all rally behind the memory of Gary and give him his wish. 

The obituary is on Accent Funeral Home's website. As we join to celebrate Gary’s life, the family has requested that in order to honor Gary, please feel free to wear your Boise State University gear or your Corvette attire (not mandatory).

Friday-November 3rd @10 AM

Please show up early to park with all the Corvettes.

Committal Service with Military Honors:

Monday-November 6th @ 2pm  (note: different date than Memorial Service) 

Idaho State Veterans Cemetery

Please show up early, to get in line with all the Corvettes.

Larry Brown has asked that this event reminder be sent out daily until Mon. Nov. 6th. He really wants as many Corvettes to attend if possible. Even if you didn't personally know Gary Kester, please come support his wish.
